
Rossana’s Cookies and Sweets is a dream come true for me. I am originally from Venezuela and as a kid I always helped my mom with the baking of birthday cakes and cookies for family and friends incorporating delicious Latin flavors. Trying new recipes for Bunt cakes prompted my interest in baking. Not to mention my sweet tooth! Now it’s my career. My company Rossana’s Cookies & Sweets, established in 2007, produces a variety of artisan baked goods – including cookies, cakes, mini cakes and cupcakes.
After graduating as a Chemical Engineer and later pursuing a post graduate degree in Marketing I realized that my true love and passion was baking. That’s why I decided to pursue it professionally.I have completed numerous courses in baking and cake decorating including taking classes at the renowned Bonnie Gordon School of Confectionary Arts in Toronto, Canada where I achieved a Professional Certificate in the Arts of Baking, along with winning the 2009 Cake Design competition on the Anniversary category.
At my studio we always make our cookies and sweets from scratch, and baked as soon as orders are received to maintain their freshness. We always use the finest and highest quality ingredients including real creamy butter, pure Madagascar bourbon vanilla, the finest Belgium chocolates, and a wide variety of nuts and French fruit purées. We can personalize your cookies, cupcakes, and cakes with the decoration of your choice.
We cater to gourmet markets all over Toronto, GTA and York region. We also deliver our products to caterers, event planners, and corporations.
